RHS Open House
Sunday, December 4, 1:00 – 4:00

Taverns in early Connecticut were more than just a place to drink. Travelers and locals alike saw taverns as a place to be entertained, spread news and gossip, have a good meal, and get a night’s lodging. Learn about how taverns were an essential part of every Connecticut town. Program presentation by Nancy Belanger, Adult Programs Manager for the Connecticut Historical Society Museum & Library.

  1. I would like to attend the presentation “Tapping into the Past” from 11-1 PM on Sunday, 11/13/22 at the Redding Road House ( correct venue?). Please also send information about the RHS brunch that day. Thank you.
